  • Bitty Ballerinas - Wednesdays 5:30-6:15 
    How long has your tiny been waiting to take their first dance class? The wait is over!
    Bitty Ballerinas is the perfect program for dancers to stay completely engaged while learning the basics of ballet, tap and creative movement. Tiny Dancers will learn how to follow direction and imitate movement in a positive environment. Bitty Ballerinas do perform at our end of the year Spring Show. 
    Attire: leotard with ballet skirt or tutu, pink ballet shoes. Hair pulled back out of face. 

    Tiny Tumble - Tuesdays 6:00-6:45 

    Focuses on gymnastics-based beginner acrobatic movements suitable for dance and dance choreography.

  • Pre-Ballet I - Tuesdays 5:45-6:15
    These classes will focus on building core strength and understanding of basic fundamentals of ballet. The dancers will be introduced to basic ballet terminology. The primary focus of this class will be building strength at the barre along with learning basic steps in the center and across the floor.
    ​Attire: 
    Any style black leotard, pink tights and canvas ballet shoes.Black skirts optional. Hair pulled back into a bun. ​
    Combo Cuties - Thursdays 6:30-7:15 
    ​is an age specific class containing ballet, tap and jazz/creative movement. Dancers will be introduced to three styles of dance, ballet, tap, & jazz. Dancers will learn basic steps and terminology in all three styles. For example, all dancers will learn what a “plie” is and how to demonstrate one. All of our Combo Cuties perform one dance at our Spring Show. 
    Attire: Pink tights & Leotard. Ballet and Tap shoes required
  • Pre Acro I - Mondays 5:30-6:30 

    Hip Hop - Tuesdays 4:30-5:30
    This is a high energy class which combines hip hop with creative movement taught to fun hip hop music. Allowing every tiny dancer to unleash their inner superstar! Dancers will be hopping all the way out of this class! 
    Attire: any dance clothes with tennis shoes

    Pre Ballet II - Tuesdays 6:45-7:30 
    These classes will focus on building core strength and understanding of basic fundamentals of ballet. The dancers will be introduced to basic ballet terminology.     Pre Acro I - Wednesdays 5:15-6:15 
  • Hip Hop I - Wednesdays 5:30-6:30
    The focus of the class is to build a strong technical foundation in hip-hop movement while also building performance quality and musicality. Each class includes a warm up (focusing on isolations of the body, conditioning, and stretching,) floor-work, technique, and combinations. This class is highly aerobic, teaching movement grounded in strength and confidence, and building quickness and agility of the body and mind. All hip hop classes perform a dance at our end of the year recital.
    Jazz Funk - Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 
    This class combines the basic steps of jazz with urban hip hop moves. Making it a high energy class that is fast paced and highly entertaining. Dancers that want a combination of street style jazz and hip hop are sure to love this class. In this class we will learn a dance to perform at our end of the year recital. 
    Attire: comfortable clothing with tennis shoes/combat boots
    Tap I - Thursdays 4:30-5:30 
    Dancers learn tap technique that emphasizes musicality through hearing and embodying rhythm. This joyful dance form teaches coordination, weigh shift, and balance. Students are challenged to learn choreography in a group setting, while emphasizing the individual creative process. In this class we will learn a dance to perform at our end of the year recital.
    Level I- Students will learn basic steps, including
    • Shuffle
    • Ball Change
    • Crawl
    Acro III - Thursdays 5:45-6:45

  • Jazz II - Mondays 5:30-6:30
    Our classes will explore classical jazz technique through strength building, flexibility, floor progressions, and combinations. Classes will focus on building a solid foundation of technique as well as learning how to execute their performance value in this super high energy fun class. Each Jazz class consists of warm-up using isolated movements, across the floor progressions, and current choreography.
    Level II- This level will be taught at a faster pace. You should have mastered all technique taught in previous level.
    Attire: Fitted tank or sports bra, dance shorts, leggings or fitted capri, hair pulled out of face. Jazz shoes required
    Jazz III - Mondays 7:00-8:00
    Our classes will explore classical jazz technique through strength building, flexibility, floor progressions, and combinations. Classes will focus on building a solid foundation of technique as well as learning how to execute their performance value in this super high energy fun class. Each Jazz class consists of warm-up using isolated movements, across the floor progressions, and current choreography.
    Level III- To excel in jazz, dancers need a strong background in ballet as it encourages grace and balance. This advanced level is for students who have mastered the levels I & II.
    Attire: Fitted tank or sports bra, dance shorts, leggings or fitted capri, hair pulled out of face. Jazz shoes required
    Tap II-III - Tuesdays 5:00-6:00
    Dancers learn tap technique that emphasizes musicality through hearing and embodying rhythm. This joyful dance form teaches coordination, weigh shift, and balance. Students are challenged to learn choreography in a group setting, while emphasizing the individual creative process. In this class we will learn a dance to perform at our end of the year recital.
    Level II- Students will learn the difference between even and syncopated rhythms. They will also learn to integrate these rhythms with steps, including
    • Cramp Roll
    • Maxi Ford
    • Buffalo
    Level III- Students will learn combinations, unifying steps learned in levels I and II, at various tempos and rhythms. Combinations include
    • Around the World
    • Double/Triple Paradiddle
    • Double/Triple Drawbacks
    Hip Hop III - Wednesdays 4:30-5:30
    The focus of the class is to build a strong technical foundation in hip-hop movement while also building performance quality and musicality. Each class includes a warm up (focusing on isolations of the body, conditioning, and stretching,) floor-work, technique, and combinations. This class is highly aerobic, teaching movement grounded in strength and confidence, and building quickness and agility of the body and mind. All hip hop classes perform a dance at our end of the year recital.
    Level III- Dancers who are confident in their ability to learn quickly and are ready to be on the next Beyonce video.
    Attire: any loose fitting clothes with tennis shoes/combat boots
    Modern - Thursdays 5:00-6:00
    Training is a dancers way of life, this class will focus only on your technique. If you are looking to become a more serious dancer this is where you should be. Leaps & Turns focuses on center floor work and progression across the floor. MDC instructors work exclusively on the proper placement of feet and arms while continuing to practice perfect form on turns, jumps and extensions.
    Attire: Fitted tank or sports bra, dance shorts, leggings or fitted capri, hair pulled out of face. 
    Hip Hop II - Thursdays 5:30-6:30
    The focus of the class is to build a strong technical foundation in hip-hop movement while also building performance quality and musicality. Each class includes a warm up (focusing on isolations of the body, conditioning, and stretching,) floor-work, technique, and combinations. This class is highly aerobic, teaching movement grounded in strength and confidence, and building quickness and agility of the body and mind. All hip hop classes perform a dance at our end of the year recital.
    Level II- Moving on up...this level will be fast paced and focus on the dancers physical awareness.
    Attire: any loose fitting clothes with tennis shoes/combat boots
